Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between LeRoy LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeBlanc comes to the cage accompanied by Tèrez Montcalm - Sweet Dreams. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Hoist the Colours. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Jones! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeBlanc takes a jab right on the kisser.
LeBlanc throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones misses with a few strikes there.

and Jones counters by clinching up. Jones takes a shot to the head. LeBlanc fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

LeBlanc throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. LeBlanc throws an off balance right hand
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. LeBlanc goes for a high kick. It partially lands. LeBlanc just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but LeBlanc sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. LeBlanc drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jones walks into a jab. LeBlanc misses with a body shot.
Jones throws a body kick, spinning off balance and LeBlanc counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. LeBlanc walks into a left hand. An inside leg kick from Jones misses. Jones has closed the distance and engaged LeBlanc in a clinch.

It looks like LeRoy LeBlanc has been cut. LeBlanc goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's four minutes gone in the round. LeBlanc pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. LeBlanc scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. LeBlanc scores with a slapping inside leg kick. LeBlanc lands with a good body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! LeBlanc moves into range and connects with a jab. LeBlanc throws a lazy uppercut

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones jabs LeBlanc to the body, keeping him at a distance. LeBlanc is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. LeBlanc moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. LeBlanc manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of LeRoy LeBlanc. LeBlanc tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard. LeBlanc blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones.

David Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on LeRoy LeBlanc's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
