The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Clinch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clinch gets the takedown into side control.
Clinch controls the position.
Clinch working away.
Clinch wants to stand but Silva has his arm trapped.
Clinch decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Clinch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clinch.
Clinch wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Silva wants to get up but he can't break Clinch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Silva wants to control from the top but Clinch keeps moving.

Clinch pulls Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents Silva from doing any damage or advancing position.
Clinch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Clinch is breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva wants to control from the top but Clinch keeps moving.
Felipe Escarlate Silva has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Clinch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
Clinch is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Silva wants to control but Clinch postures up.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Clinch kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Clinch keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva is trying to control Clinch's posture but Clinch avoids it.
Clinch tries to stand but Silva controls the position and pulls Clinch into his guard.
Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clinch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Clinch is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.
Clinch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clinch tries to get out of the position.
Silva working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Clinch looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silva! Submission of the night perhaps?
