Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuai Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Takadory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liang is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Yoshi Takadory is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuai Liang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Takadory! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takadory misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Liang is breathing heavily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takadory. Takadory misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Liang tries to break the clinch but Takadory is controlling the position. Takadory tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Liang smiles and moves away.
Kuai Liang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Takadory. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takadory stuns Liang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Takadory throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Takadory. Takadory taking a breather here. Takadory decides to stand back up. Takadory steps back and let's Liang get back to his feet. Takadory moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Kuai Liang has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takadory darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Takadory working over Liang with some ground and pound. Liang looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liang wants to get back to his feet. Takadory content to control rather than advance. Takadory trying to pass the guard but Liang defending well. Takadory stands up and beckons Liang to join him on the feet. Takadory looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Liang is fending him off so far but Takadory persists. Nope, Liang circles away and we're back to standing. Takadory moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takadory gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Liang regains guard.
Takadory decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Takadory feints and as Liang raises his hands in defense, Takadory changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Takadory trying to control the position from guard on top but Liang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Liang wants to stand up but Takadory is controlling him. Takadory wants to control from the top but Liang keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Takadory stops Liang from standing up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Yoshi Takadory was stalling too much, according to the referee. Takadory closes the distance and clinches up with Liang, looking for a takedown. Takadory pushes Liang against the cage but Liang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Takadory misses with a takedown attempt - Liang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Takadory looks for a takedown but Liang sprawls well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Liang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Takadory dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kuai Liang's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Takadory gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Takadory takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Liang has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Liang stuffs the takedown attempt from Takadory. Takadory gets slowly back to his feet. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Takadory. Takadory lands a nice hook to Liang's body. Liang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takadory gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stalling in the clinch from Takadory.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liang is trying to break free. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Takadory lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Takadory leaning his opponent against the cage. Takadory tries to break free but Liang pushes him back against the cage. Liang is looking to break free of the clinch but Takadory has double underhooks. Takadory is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Liang is defending well for now. Liang is trying to push Takadory away but Takadory has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Takadory. A frustrated look appears on Liang's face as he tries to break the clinch. Takadory is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kuai Liang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Takadory. Takadory pulls guard effortlessly. Takadory wants to sweep here but Liang controlling him for the moment. Liang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Takadory looking to hit a scissor sweep but Liang is one step ahead there. Takadory keeping moving, preventing Liang from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Takadory is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kuai Liang. Liang throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kuai Liang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown by Takadory or perhaps it was just good defense by Liang which made him look bad. Takadory throws a head kick that misses so Liang counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liang stands and steps away. Takadory gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Takadory thows a leg kick but Liang checks it and Liang counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Liang is pressed up against the cage. Takadory has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Liang down to the mat. Liang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Takadory tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Liang counters with a thumping low kick. Liang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takadory changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Liang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Takadory controls the position from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Takadory takes the fight into the clinch. Takadory is trying to drag Liang to the mat but Liang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kuai Liang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Takadory. Liang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Takadory stalls. Takadory is trying to break the clinch but Liang has him pressed against the cage. Liang breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Takadory closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Takadory lands in his opponent's guard. Takadory wants to control from the top but Liang keeps moving. Takadory slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Yoshi Takadory has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Liang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Takadory.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takadory lands a right hook to the body.
Takadory lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Takadory shoots for a double leg takedown but Liang sprawls well. He's pushed Takadory's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Takadory dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Horrible takedown by Takadory or perhaps it was just good defense by Liang which made him look bad. Yoshi Takadory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A punch combination from Takadory misses. Takadory shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liang as he jumps to the side. Liang misses with a takedown attempt and Takadory counters with a takedown into side control. Yoshi Takadory has got the better of the ground game so far. Takadory trying to control the position but Liang is working away. You can see the frustration on Liang's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Liang manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Liang missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Yoshi Takadory comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Takadory has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
