Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunne's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Two Steps from Hell - Fountain of Life. Stone has chosen Metallica (Stone Cold Crazy) as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Dunne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Stone! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunne throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Stone throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like James Stone has been cut. Stone misses with a right hand and Dunne counters with a flying knee. Nice. Dunne throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Stone to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Josh Dunne has been cut. Stone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stone checks a leg kick. Dunne misses with a shot to the body enabling Stone to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dunne ducks right into an uppercut from Stone. Dunne ducks under a wild hook from Stone. Stone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dunne throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Stone lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone throws a lazy uppercut
and Dunne counters with a body kick. Stone misses with a hook
and Dunne counters with a body kick that stops Stone in his tracks momentarily. Stone looks gassed! Dunne throws a body punch but Stone moves out of range. Dunne ducks under a wild hook from Stone. Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dunne keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dunne throws a front kick that sends Stone stumbling back into the cage. Dunne misses with a two punch combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Dunne. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stone checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone blocks a low kick nicely. Dunne lands a jab to the head.
A slow jab from Dunne misses its intended target. Dunne lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Dunne ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dunne misses with the body kick letting Stone counter with a right hand. Stone throws a jab but it's blocked by Dunne. Dunne throws a leg kick which misses Stone's front leg but catches the back leg as Stone tries to avoid it. Stone throws a big shot that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne is looking to slow Stone down with leg kicks. Some wild striking there from Dunne.
Dunne tries to clinch up. A combination from Stone does no damage. Dunne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stone.
Stone misses with the body kick and Dunne counters with a leg kick. Stone misses with a left hand and Dunne cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up James Stone's cut even more. Stone takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Dunne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Stone is being controlled here. Dunne works to advance to full mount. Stone defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dunne tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dunne's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Stone tries to hold on but Dunne postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dunne controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Dunne dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stone throws a big shot that misses. Stone misses with a lunging right hand
and Dunne counters with a nice leg kick. Stone swings widly with a right hand
and Dunne counters with a head kick. That will keep Stone thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Josh Dunne is winning the standup battle so far. Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dunne counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stone's knee momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stone takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dunne throws a head kick that misses. James Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone is breathing heavily. Dunne changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dunne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dunne is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dunne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The cut above James Stone's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Dunne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it. Stone swings widly with a right hand
and Dunne counters with a nice uppercut. That kick from Dunne tenderised Stone's leg. Stone is trying to keep his angry face on. Dunne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stone, pushing him back against the cage. A right hand to the body from Dunne.
The referee calls for Dunne to work.
Dunne presses Stone against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Dunne lands a knee to the body.
Dunne stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunne lands a nice uppercut.
James Stone's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Dunne gets through Stone's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dunne lands a body punch. Dunne slowing the pace effectively. Dunne working some nice short punches in the clinch. Stone tries to break the clinch but Dunne is controlling the position. Stone looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dunne decides to pull guard. Dunne is pulling down on Stone's head. It's preventing any offense from Stone, at least for the moment. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dunne escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dunne working for a triangle but Stone defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne is trying to keep Stone in close.
Dunne preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stone with a nice head shot there. Stone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dunne pulls Stone in close to prevent any damage. Stone stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Dunne has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Stone manages to get his head free but now Dunne has transitioned to an armbar! Stone grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Dunne! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
