The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pesonen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mordor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pesonen finds it's way round the side to connect with Mordor's head.
Jasse Pesonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pesonen rushes Mordor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pesonen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mordor uses from the top position.

Mordor throwing strikes from guard but Pesonen blocks nicely.
Mordor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mordor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pesonen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mordor is defending well. Pesonen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mordor has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pesonen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
