Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihail Monarkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fredrick Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mihail Monarkki!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monarkki fails with a takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes moves into range and connects with a jab.

Reyes throws a body punch but Monarkki moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Reyes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Reyes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Monarkki shoots in looking for a takedown. Reyes tries to sprawl out of it but Monarkki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reyes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Monarkki gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Reyes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Monarkki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Monarkki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Fredrick Reyes will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mihail Monarkki was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Reyes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

It looks like Mihail Monarkki has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Reyes as Monarkki shoots in.
