Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Gamaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamaz swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Douglas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Douglas. Gamaz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Douglas lands a really nice looking cross but Gamaz seems unphased.

Gamaz clobbers Douglas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A punch lands to the side of Gamaz 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gamaz throws a low kick but Douglas moves out of range easily.

Gamaz is rocked!
Douglas cracks Gamaz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gamaz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Douglas pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gamaz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
