Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyrus Quinn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Harrison! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harrison lands in his opponent's guard. Harrison prevents Quinn from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Harrison blocks a head kick by Quinn.
Harrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Quinn tries to sprawl out of it but Harrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quinn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Harrison looks to land a body kick but Quinn moved away. Quinn misses with the combination.
Quinn feints and as Harrison raises his hands in defense, Quinn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Harrison looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quinn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Quinn is breathing heavily. Harrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quinn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harrison manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn throws a head kick but Harrison moves out of range.
Harrison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quinn pinned against the cage. Quinn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Harrison fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Quinn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harrison is out of range and Quinn settles back down. Harrison shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Quinn moves into the clinch. Cyrus Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Harrison. Harrison has hold of one of Quinn's legs. Quinn is fighting the takedown attempt but Harrison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Harrison stopping the sweep attempt from Quinn. Quinn seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Quinn throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quinn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Harrison is looking to improve his position.
Harrison is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Harrison manages to escape and get back to his feet! Quinn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Quinn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harrison shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Quinn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Quinn throws an overhand right that lands on Harrison's shoulder, as Harrison tries to avoid the shot. Harrison fails in his attempt to clinch. Quinn throws a head kick that misses. Harrison throws a sloppy head kick and Quinn counters with a body kick that stops Harrison in his tracks momentarily. Harrison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Quinn lands with a straight right. Harrison didn't see that one coming. Quinn has a takedown stuffed. Harrison fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big head kick from Quinn and Harrison is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Harrison is rocked! Quinn lands a couple of digs. Harrison is still in real trouble! Can Quinn finish him? Quinn stands up and waves to Harrison to follow him. Quinn throws a right and a left that Harrison avoids nicely. A head kick by Quinn - that's a beauty! Harrison is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Quinn can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cyrus Quinn!
