Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Penagos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penagos's entrance music is Somebody Gonna Get Their Ass Whooped!. A fine choice. Rivers has chosen Superbeast as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penagos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rivers throws out the jab.
Penagos tries to score with a low kick but Rivers moves his leg out of the way.
Penagos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rivers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rivers throws a leg kick but Penagos sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Rivers sends Penagos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rivers is motioning to the referee to let Penagos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Penagos is rocked!
Rivers drops Penagos with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rivers follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
