Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Katsurou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Monkeys of War. Katsurou has chosen Coheed and Cambria - Devil in Jersey City as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tiger Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ren Katsurou! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Katsurou jabbing away but nothing is landing. Katsurou displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab. Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Katsurou cracks Lee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Katsurou dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Katsurou doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Katsurou punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee misses with a hook. Katsurou ducked under it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee. Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Katsurou tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Katsurou to the ground. Katsurou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Katsurou, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Katsurou. Lee fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiger Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Katsurou as Lee shoots in. Katsurou throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range. Katsurou missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lee misses with a wild body shot. Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Katsurou connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Katsurou lands a jab to Lee's midsection. Katsurou misses with a jab, cross combination.
Katsurou moves out of range of the strikes. Katsurou connects with a body shot. Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Katsurou comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Katsurou stuffs the takedown. Katsurou cracks Lee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Katsurou dodges the punch combination from Lee.

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Katsurou was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Katsurou misses with a body punch
and Lee counters with a one-two to the body. Katsurou wants to land a leg kick but Lee is out of range. Katsurou misses with a body shot
so Lee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Katsurou wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment. Katsurou manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Katsurou punching from mount but Lee doing a good job of avoiding damage. Katsurou working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Katsurou on the ground. Katsurou lands a big elbow. Lee in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Katsurou landing strikes, looking to finish! Lee wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Katsurou.
Katsurou thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ren Katsurou dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lee misses the body punch and Lee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A cross from Katsurou lands. Katsurou moves out of range of the strikes. Katsurou looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range. Katsurou moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab. Katsurou's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lee under the eye. Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Lee counters with a left and a right that stings Katsurou.
That's one minute gone in the round. Katsurou ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lee looks to land a right hand but Katsurou moved out of range. Lee keeps the fight on the outside. Lee throws a hook to the side of Katsurou's head but Katsurou sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Katsurou misses with a low kick as Lee jumps back. Lee gets the takedown into side control. Katsurou is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lee off and has taken his back! Katsurou somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Lee avoids the strikes from Katsurou.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Katsurou lands strikes to the head. Katsurou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Katsurou tries to get the hooks in deep but Lee pushed the leg off. Can Lee hold on?! Katsurou is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Katsurou looking to break Lee's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lee remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Katsurou will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Katsurou throwing wild punches that miss their target. Katsurou missing with punches from the back. Katsurou is looking to control Lee but Lee is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Well, with Katsurou on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lee is tapping out... Can he escape the position? The referee is taking a good look at Lee as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Katsurou!
Katsurou lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Katsurou.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee covering up well under a series of strikes from Katsurou. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ren Katsurou showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Katsurou is controlling Lee's posture. Lee trying to control but Katsurou is working from the bottom. Katsurou wants to sweep but no luck. Katsurou keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Katsurou has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. Lee won't allow Katsurou to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Katsurou tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Lee counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Katsurou fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Katsurou jabs at Lee's body. Lee throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Katsurou to counter with a crisp jab. Donk. Katsurou catches Lee right on the button with a cross. No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt. Tiger Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Katsurou misses with a straight left. Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Katsurou misses with a lunging right hand

Katsurou scores with a shot to the side of Lee's head. Katsurou lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Katsurou landing knees to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. A short left from Katsurou. Katsurou lands a shoulder strike. Katsurou crunches a lovely knee into Lee's ribcage. Katsurou lands a shot to the body. A right handed body shot lands from Katsurou.
Katsurou working some nice short punches in the clinch. Katsurou lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Katsurou throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Katsurou pushes Lee back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lee is rocked! Katsurou will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lee up against the cage. Katsurou lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Katsurou lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Lee to his knees! Katsurou keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
