The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dew keeps Horensztejn at a distance using the push kick.
Dew bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Horensztejn looks gassed!
Dew doesn't manage to clinch there - Horensztejn circles away.
Dew throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Horensztejn's head.
Dew tries to clinch up
and Horensztejn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Horensztejn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice body kick from Dew.
Dew thuds his shin into the meat of Horensztejn's side.
Horensztejn on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Dew throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Horensztejn.

Dew connects with a nasty looking knee right to Horensztejn's face.
Dew fails to pull guard.
Dew tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Horensztejn smiles and moves away.
Mountain Dew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dew lands with a slapping head kick.
Dew throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Dew throws a front kick that sends Horensztejn stumbling back into the ropes.
Dew lands with a kick to the ribs.
Dew plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Dew with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dew doesn't manage to clinch there - Horensztejn circles away.

Dew tries to clinch up but Horensztejn circles away and keeps his distance.

Horensztejn has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dew.

Dew misses with a knee strike.
Horensztejn working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dew is working for takedown but Horensztejn is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mountain Dew. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A slapping body kick lands there for Dew.

Horensztejn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dew.
Sloppy strikes from Horensztejn. Those never looked like landing.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dew.

Horensztejn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dew looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dew manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Horensztejn is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Horensztejn wants to control the pace but Dew is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dew regains half guard.
Dew regains full guard. Nicely done.

Horensztejn has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dew to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Horensztejn is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dew pulls down on the head and he's put Horensztejn to sleep! This one is all over!
