Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iker Dragunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ha Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iker Dragunov looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ha Lo! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lo delivers a nice body kick. Dragunov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lo throws a head kick that misses. Lo drives through and clinches with Dragunov against the ropes.
Lo scores a nice knee to the body.
Lo tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dragunov tries to score a body lock takedown but Lo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lo using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Dragunov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lo walks away with a smile on his face. Dragunov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ha Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dragunov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iker Dragunov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lo tries to land a front kick but Dragunov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lo throws a head kick that misses. Lo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lo throws a leg kick but Dragunov moved away. Lo throws a lazy body kick and Dragunov counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Lo looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dragunov.

Dragunov tries to pull guard but Lo won't allow it.
Dragunov takes a knee to the side of the body. Dragunov pulls Lo into guard.
Lo is looking to stand up but Dragunov won't let him. Dragunov wants to get back to his feet but Lo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dragunov is proving hard to escape from. Dragunov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lo wants to get up but he can't break Dragunov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragunov wants to sweep here but Lo controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lo throws a head kick that half lands.
Lo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Dragunov takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lo gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dragunov counters with a shoot takedown. Lo fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lo can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dragunov wants to control from the top but Lo keeps moving. Dragunov thows a big elbow that misses. Dragunov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dragunov prevents Lo from getting back to his feet. Lo kicks Dragunov off and gets to his feet. Lo wants to clinch and Dragunov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lo! This has been an exciting period of action! Dragunov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lo looks a forlorn figure.

Lo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lo wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dragunov working Lo over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ha Lo will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dragunov if he has to take too many more of those.

Lo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dragunov takes a step back to recover. A slapping body kick lands there for Lo. A thudding body kick lands there by Lo!
Lo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Lo is looking to land body kicks. Lo drives through and clinches with Dragunov against the ropes.
Dragunov is trying to push Lo away but Lo has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Lo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dragunov avoids it. Lo tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dragunov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Dragunov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lo wants to clinch. Lo wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dragunov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lo lands with a kick to the ribs.
Lo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Dragunov takes a kick to the side of the head. Dragunov shoots in but no luck this time. Lo stuffs the takedown. Lo feints and then cracks Dragunov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dragunov down. Lo tries to clinch but Dragunov is having none of it. Dragunov takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dragunov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dragunov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iker Dragunov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lo scores with a kick to the body.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lo. Lo keeps control of Dragunov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dragunov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Los head. Lo prevents Dragunov from breaking the clinch. Lo lands a knee to the head.

Lo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dragunov is defending well for now. Lo has Dragunov pressed against the ropes, preventing Dragunov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lo utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Dragunov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Dragunov avoiding damage as Lo throws knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lo misses with a knee strike.

Dragunov will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Dragunov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dragunov is trying to push Lo away but Lo has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Lo stalling the fight.

Dragunov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dragunov fails with a takedown attempt. Lo tries to clinch up but Dragunov circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ha Lo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Dragunov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lo misses with the body kick and Dragunov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lo won't be happy with that. Lo is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dragunov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Lo is trying to buck Dragunov off. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dragunov lands a few punches from side control. Lo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Dragunov has just dragged him back down to the mat. Lo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dragunov in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Dragunov prevents Lo from escaping the position. Dragunov scoring with punches and elbows. Lo tries to escape but Dragunov is in control. Dragunov is putting a hurting on Lo here, landing some big shots from side control. Lo is not content to let Dragunov control the position. Lo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Dragunov trying to control the position but Lo is working away. Lo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dragunov is controlling him well. Lo is trying to escape the position but Dragunov is controlling the position. Dragunov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dragunov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lo is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lo is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Sloppy strikes there by Dragunov. Lo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dragunov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dragunov trying to control the action but Lo is working from the bottom. Dragunov prevents Lo from escaping the position. Lo is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dragunov.
Lo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dragunov landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Lo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Dragunov has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dragunov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Dragunov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dragunov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragunov in side control, throwing shots but Lo defends. Lo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dragunov throws an elbow but Lo slips to the side and avoids it well. Dragunov tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Lo is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Dragunov trying to control the action but Lo is working from the bottom. Dragunov tries to stand but Lo is controlling his head. Lo pushes Dragunov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dragunov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The strikes coming from Dragunov are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lo on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Lo pushes Dragunov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dragunov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dragunov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lo down.
Dragunov tries to score with some ground and pound. Lo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dragunov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Lo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dragunov asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dragunov is looking to take a break and control but Lo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dragunov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dragunov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lo tries to escape but Dragunov is in control.
And that's the end of the fight! Iker Dragunov showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
