Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gesta throws a head kick but Kimura moves out of range.
Gesta misses with a head kick.
Gesta looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gesta has gone for a leg lock! Kimura slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gesta's guard.
Gesta wants to sweep but no luck.
Gesta is trying to control the position but Kimura postures up.
Kimura wants to control from the top but Gesta keeps moving.
Kimura thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gesta manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kimura manages to get himself to full guard.
Kimura is looking for a triangle but Gesta pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kimura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gesta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gesta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kimura looking for a triangle here. Gesta is fighting it but it looks tight! Kimura pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gesta is tapping out - this one is all over!
