And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Killsbrough!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killsbrough falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mickles counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Tyler Killsbrough has been cut.
Killsbrough throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mickles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Killsbrough dodges the punch combination from Mickles.

Mickles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Killsbrough counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mickles swings widly with a right hand
and Killsbrough counters with a three punch combo that has Mickles backing up. Mickles nods at Killsbrough to acknowledge the strikes.
Killsbrough throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Killsbrough throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Killsbrough counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

enabling Mickles to counter with a crisp jab.
Killsbrough swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mickles misses with a jab, cross combination.
Killsbrough throws a head kick but Mickles moves out of range.

and Killsbrough counters with a left to the body.
Mickles slips under a jab.
Mickles misses with a hook
and Killsbrough counters with a big head kick but Mickles shrugs it off.
Mickles swings widly with a right hand
and Killsbrough counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Mickles will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Tyler Killsbrough's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mickles swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Killsbrough counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mickles's knee momentarily.
Killsbrough misses with a double jab
and Mickles counters with a nice body shot.

Killsbrough throws a lazy uppercut
and Mickles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mickles misses with a right hand
and Killsbrough counters with a one-two to the body.
Mickles walks into a jab.

Mickles throws a right hand that misses
and Mickles takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Killsbrough lands a jab to the head.
Killsbrough lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mickles avoids a punch combination nicely.

enabling Killsbrough to counter with a crisp jab.

Killsbrough tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mickles was well out of range. Poor timing from Killsbrough.

The fighters circle momentarily. Killsbrough darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Chris Mickles has been cut.
Killsbrough throws a lazy uppercut
and Mickles counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Killsbrough lands a head kick!

Tyler Killsbrough showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Mickles rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Killsbrough counters with a series of strikes. Mickles will be more careful next time no doubt.
Killsbrough misses the jab.
Mickles gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Killsbrough scores with a jab to the body.

Mickles throws a poor cross that misses
letting Killsbrough counter with a right hand.
Killsbrough digs a good body shot into Mickles's ribs.
Mickles throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Killsbrough connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mickles is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Killsbrough looks to land a combination but Mickles avoids it well.

Killsbrough throws an overhand right that lands on Mickles's shoulder, as Mickles tries to avoid the shot.
Tyler Killsbrough seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Killsbrough misses with a hook to the body
and Mickles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Killsbrough looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Mickles displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Killsbrough throws out the jab.
Mickles gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Killsbrough throws a nice looking combination but Mickles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tyler Killsbrough comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Killsbrough has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
