Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by South Texas Death Ride. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lopez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Weed checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Weed keeps Lopez at a distance using the push kick.

and Weed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lopez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Weed.

Weed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pedro Lopez will probably get the nod.
