The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legia with a lazy takedown attempt
and Junio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Junio drives through and clinches with Legia against the cage.
Junio tries to land a knee to the head but Legia blocks with his arms.
Junio stalls.
Legia can't get the takedown.
Junio prevents Legia from breaking the clinch.
Junio's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Junio has had enough of the clinch but Legia keeps him there for the moment.
Junio using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Legia has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Junio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rogerio Junio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Legia moves out of range of the leg kick from Junio.
Legia shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rogerio Junio has got the better of the ground game so far.
Legia throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Junio has his hands clasped together but Legia breaks the hold and Junio is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Legia!
