Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emil Pasanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Emil Pasanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pasanen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pasanen drops an elbow to the side of Rambo's head.
Pasanen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rambo is looking to improve his position.
Rambo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pasanen works his way into side control.
Rambo is not content to let Pasanen control the position.
Rambo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Rambo tries to roll over but Pasanen keeps him under control.
Pasanen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rambo gets back to full guard.
Pasanen gets to his feet. Rambo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Pasanen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rambo as he jumps to the side.
Pasanen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rambo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rambo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Pasanen wants to control but Rambo is keeping him busy.
Pasanen working over Rambo with some ground and pound. Rambo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Rambo won't allow Pasanen to pass to mount.
Pasanen throwing shots but Rambo is blocking nicely.
Rambo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pasanen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pasanen's back!

Rambo is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pasanen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Rambo looks gassed!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pasanen is trying to get back to his feet but Rambo has full control of the position and if anything, Pasanen has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Pasanen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rambo gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rambo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pasanen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rambo is trying to stick to Pasanen's back but Pasanen is turning into Rambo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rambo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pasanen.

Rambo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pasanen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rambo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pasanen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pasanen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rambo controls Pasanen momentarily but Pasanen frees himself.
Rambo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rambo is on top in guard.
Pasanen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rambo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rambo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pasanen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rambo wants to control from the top but Pasanen keeps moving.
Pasanen wants to get back to his feet but Rambo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rambo tries to free his leg and advance position but Pasanen is retaining full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Pasanen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Emil Pasanen will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rambo gets a takedown into half guard.
Rambo wants to pass the guard but Pasanen is defending well.
Rambo is thwarting Pasanen's attempts to control the position.
Rambo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Pasanen is controlling Rambo's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Pasanen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rambo is working away from the top position though.
Rambo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pasanen is just riding it out for now. Rambo eventually gives up the hold.
Pasanen is pressing down on Rambo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pasanen wants to sweep here but Rambo controlling him for the moment.

Rambo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pasanen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rambo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pasanen wants to control but Rambo is keeping busy.
Rambo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pasanen defends it well.
Rambo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Rambo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pasanen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pasanen is trying desperately to improve position.
Rambo lands a nice shot to the head.
Rambo has hold of Pasanen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pasanen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pasanen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rambo's guard.
Rambo has his foot on Pasanen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pasanen works his way back into a safe position though.
Pasanen stands and throws Rambo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Rambo wants to control but Pasanen postures up.
Rambo is trying to get back to half guard.

Rambo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Pasanen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Pasanen tries to pass to full mount but Rambo defends it.
Pasanen winds up and cracks Rambo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Rambo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pasanen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rambo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pasanen lands a nice short elbow.
Rambo is rocked!

Rambo is still in real trouble! Can Pasanen finish him?
Pasanen lands a big elbow - Rambo is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Pasanen!
