The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Uy with that takedown attempt.
Smith throws a body kick that misses.
Smith misses with a telegraphed body shot
so Uy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Uy has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Uy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Smith doesn't defend quickly enough and Uy has managed to lock this one up! Can Smith escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Uy on a fantastic submission victory.
