Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Danials (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Yen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Yen's choice of entrance music: Danza Kuduro. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Danials! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donnie Yen! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Yen throws a sloppy head kick letting Danials counter with a right hand. Danials fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Yen throws a sloppy head kick and Danials counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yen won't be happy with that. Danials trying to control the position but Yen is working away. Yen taking a bit of punishment here - Danials scoring with strikes. Danials landing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Danials is looking to take a break and control but Yen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Danials is controlling him well. Yen tries to buck Danials off but Danials is having none of it. Yen takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Danials wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yen, who protects the arm well. Yen being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danials's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Yen is looking to regain half guard here but Danials keeps moving and retains side control. Yen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! You can see the frustration on Yen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Danials taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Danials taking a break here but Yen is having none of it and regains half guard. Danials missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Danials is controlling the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Danials. Yen gets caught flat footed, as Danials shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yen can't keep his opponent in guard - Danials advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Danials in particular looking to stall. Yen scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Danials manages to mount him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danials raining down shots from the mount! Danials is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Yen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danials looking to control but Yen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Yen tries to get back to half guard but can't. Yen tries to lock up and control but Danials gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Danials has hold of Yen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Yen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Danials takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Danials working away from the top, dropping strikes. Danials trying to control but Yen is having none of it. Yen wants to hold on but Danials pushes him away. Danials tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Yen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Yen looks gassed! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Danials dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Danials showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yen.
Yen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Danials tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Danials misses with a wild combination.
Yen wants to land a leg kick but Danials is out of range. Jack Danials is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danials throws a body kick that misses. Yen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Danials counters with a takedown into side control. Yen is breathing heavily. Danials tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Danials is looking to take a break and control but Yen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danials lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Yen down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yen being controlled for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Check out the look on Danials's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yen seems a little lost for a moment, as Danials dominates the positioning. Yen wants to get back to his feet. Danials takes a little break here. Yen wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jack Danials has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A combination from Danials does no damage. Yen throws a head kick but Danials moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Danials holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Yen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Danials breaks from the clinch.
Yen throws a head kick that misses and Danials counters with a left to the body. Danials moves into the clinch successfully.
Yen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Danials has him pressed against the cage. Danials has hold of one of Yen's legs. Yen is fighting the takedown attempt but Danials gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Yen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Danials not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Danials working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Yen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Danials is controlling him. Danials's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Danials dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Danials drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Danials throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Danials tries to free his leg and advance position but Yen is retaining full guard. Danials with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Danials postures up.
Yen keeping full guard, as Danials tries to pass. Yen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Danials! Danials is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danials tries to improve his position but instead Yen has taken his back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Danials trying to control the hands but Yen won't let him. Yen is looking for a choke. Danials gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Danials manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Danials passes Yen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yen keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Yen trying to hold on to Danials's head to control him but Danials postures up.
Danials is trying to control. Yen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Yen is trying to maintain the position but Danials is very close to passing his half guard. Danials is looking to take a break and control but Yen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Yen tries to get to full guard but Danials has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Donnie Yen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Danials shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yen defends it nicely. Danials closes the distance and pushes Yen back into the cage. Yen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Yen is trying to push Danials away but Danials has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Yen tries to break free but Danials pushes him back against the cage. Danials is defending well for now. A frustrated look appears on Yen's face as he tries to break the clinch. Yen looking to throw knees to the head but Danials is blocking nicely.
Danials pulls guard. Danials has Yen pulled in close to control his posture. Yen postures up in Danials's guard and throws a big left but Danials blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Danials is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Danials breaks from the clinch.
Yen tries to land a body kick and Danials counters with a three punch combo that has Yen backing up. Yen nods at Danials to acknowledge the strikes. Yen throws a sloppy head kick and Danials holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Danials has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Yen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Donnie Yen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Danials escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Danials counters by moving into the clinch. Yen misses with an elbow over the top. Danials is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yen can do to turn this around? Danials tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yen just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Danials. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yen tries to break free but Danials pushes him back against the cage. Yen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Danials lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Danials showed his dominance in that final round. Well Danials has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
