Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrick Cassel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melanie Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cassel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sucks to be me . Powers has chosen "The Way of the Fist" Five Finger Death Punch as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassel scores with a takedown into Powers's guard.
Cassel is pushing down on Powers's leg trying to pass to half guard. Powers is fighting to maintain full guard but Cassel has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cassel is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Cassel avoids the attempt from Powers to control.

Cassel is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Powers has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Powers!
Cassel has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Powers off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Cassel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Powers defends it nicely.
Cassel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Powers did well to prevent Cassel getting side control.
Cassel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cassel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Powers keeps working.

Cassel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cassel is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Powers is forced to tap! Great finish!
