The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man thumps Nickerson with a low kick.
Man throws a body punch but Nickerson moves out of range.
Nickerson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Man moves away.
Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nickerson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Man throws a head kick but Nickerson moves out of range.
No luck for Nickerson with that takedown attempt.
Man connects with a high kick.
Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Man scores with a head kick. Nickerson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Man connects with a leg kick. Nickerson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Man slips a jab and a cross from Nickerson.

Nickerson looks to land a left hand but Man moved out of range nicely.
Nickerson fails with the takedown.
Nickerson avoids the head kick by Man.
Man is looking to score with low kicks.
Man bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nickerson's head backwards.
Nickerson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Man counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Day Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Byron Nickerson.
Man cracks Nickerson with an open hand slap.
Nickerson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet.

Man tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nickerson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nickerson off to one side.

and Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Man throws a head kick that half lands.
Man goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Nickerson is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Man throws a sloppy head kick and Nickerson moves out of range easily.
Nickerson is still on wobbly legs! Can Man finish him?
Nickerson misses with a body shot
and Man counters with a nice leg kick.
Nickerson seems to have recovered his senses.
Nickerson looks gassed!
Nickerson avoids the head kick by Man.

Nickerson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Man sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Man circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Nickerson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Man follows Nickerson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
