The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
preston shoots in but Almeida avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Almeida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
preston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Almeida's guard.

Almeida bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in preston's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
preston working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Almeida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Almeida manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Almeida wants to pass the guard but preston is keeping the position.

preston has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Almeida should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, preston has tightened it up now! Almeida should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
