Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Jackhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Manuwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackhammer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Whats up . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackhammer pushes Manuwa up against the cage in a clinch.
Manuwa is trying to drag Jackhammer to the mat but Jackhammer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jackhammer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Manuwa can't fight it off and eventually Jackhammer manages to take the fight to the floor. Manuwa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Manuwa wants to improve his position but instead Jackhammer has moved into half guard.
Jackhammer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jackhammer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Manuwa is trying to get back to full guard.
Manuwa gets back to full guard.
Manuwa looking for a sweep. Not yet Manuwa, not yet.
Manuwa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Manuwa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackhammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackhammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Manuwa has momentary wrist control but Jackhammer slips an elbow through the middle.

Jackhammer drops back looking for a leg! Manuwa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Manuwa manages to kick Jackhammer off! Jackhammer jumps back into Manuwa's guard.
Manuwa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackhammer is one step ahead there.
Manuwa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Manuwa trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Manuwa keeping moving, preventing Jackhammer from controlling successfully.
Jackhammer cracks Manuwa with a solid left hand.

Jackhammer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Manuwa throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jackhammer uses it to pass to side control.
Manuwa looks gassed!
Jackhammer wants to control but Manuwa is keeping him busy.

Jackhammer is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Manuwa is trying to escape and Jackhammer transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Manuwa is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jackhammer! Very nice indeed!
