Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Rosas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Gracie struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ray Gracie looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adrian Rosas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Gracie! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rosas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rosas throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rosas wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position. Rosas pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage. Rosas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gracie wants to control from the top but Rosas keeps moving. Gracie looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rosas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie looking to control.
Rosas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard. Rosas gets to his feet. Gracie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rosas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rosas wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gracie is working an open guard so Rosas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rosas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie! Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gracie manages to regain half guard. Good work. Gracie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Rosas. Oh but Gracie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Rosas goes limp - he's gone! Gracie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ray Gracie!
