The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mekhar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Raiden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mekhar misses with a hook
and Raiden counters with a straight right hand.
Raiden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mekhar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Raiden counters with an inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Raiden.
Raiden moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Donk. Mekhar catches Raiden right on the button with a cross.
Raiden lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mekhar will feel that in the morning.
Mekhar fails with the takedown
and Raiden counters with a body kick.

Raiden throws a leg kick which misses Mekhar's front leg but catches the back leg as Mekhar tries to avoid it.
Mekhar is breathing heavily.
Raiden moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Raiden tests Mekhar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mekhar doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Raiden counters with a low kick, right behind Mekhar 's knee.
Mekhar misses with a jab to the body
and Raiden counters with a thumping low kick.
Raiden lands with a thumping leg kick.
Raiden lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Raiden connects with a leg kick. Mekhar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Raiden.
Raiden circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mekhar drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Raiden follows Mekhar to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
