Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drederick Tatum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Cedor! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Tatum is looking to land body kicks. Tatum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cedor counters with a takedown into side control. Cedor wants to control but Tatum is keeping him busy. Tatum wants to control but Cedor postures up. Tatum taking a bit of punishment here - Cedor scoring with strikes. Tatum tries to bench press Cedor off him but Cedor keeps the position. Cedor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. You can see the frustration on Tatum's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cedor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tatum knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tatum struggling a bit here.

Cedor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tatum has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cedor but great work by Tatum. Cedor is looking for a sweep. Tatum lands an elbow. Tatum looks up at the clock and then as Cedor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tatum smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
It looks like Manny Cedor has been cut. Tatum scoring with punches and elbows. Tatum lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tatum throws an elbow but Cedor slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cedor throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Cedor is looking to regain half guard here but Tatum keeps moving and retains side control. Tatum is putting a hurting on Cedor here, landing some big shots from side control.
The cut above Manny Cedor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Manny Cedor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
