Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Rosseti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Cheliouze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor Rosseti could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chip Cheliouze's chin.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chip Cheliouze! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cheliouze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Cheliouze controlling the position easily from mount. Cheliouze trying to control but Rosseti is having none of it. Rosseti keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cheliouze controlling from the full mount. Cheliouze punching from mount but Rosseti doing a good job of avoiding damage. Rosseti is looking to improve his position but Cheliouze isn't that keen on the idea. Cheliouze with shots to the head and body - Rosseti looks very uncomfortable down there. That's one minute gone in the round. Cheliouze stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Rosseti is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cheliouze wants to control from the top but Rosseti keeps moving. Cheliouze throws a big right hand that misses. Rosseti is trying to control the action in half guard but Cheliouze is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rosseti wants to stand up but Cheliouze is controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cheliouze keeps the fight on the outside. Rosseti misses with a takedown letting Cheliouze counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rosseti wants to clinch and Cheliouze counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rosseti! Cheliouze with shots to the head and body - Rosseti looks very uncomfortable down there. Cheliouze can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rosseti is looking to escape. Rosseti wants to control but Cheliouze is having none of it. Cheliouze with a couple of short strikes. Rosseti taking shots to the head. Cheliouze throwing strikes here but Rosseti is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cheliouze takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rosseti slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Cheliouze counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cheliouze decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rosseti, up you get! Rosseti throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cheliouze counters with a leg kick. Cheliouze lands a head kick!
Cheliouze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cheliouze content just to control the position here. Rosseti tries to lock up and control but Cheliouze gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cheliouze unloads with some shots from mount but Rosseti bucks and avoids them well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rosseti can't escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rosseti wants to hold on but Cheliouze pushes him away. Rosseti is looking to get to half guard. Cheliouze trying to control but Rosseti is having none of it. Rosseti working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cheliouze thowing shots but they're missing. Cheliouze controlling from mount. Cheliouze sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cheliouze fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Cheliouze stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Rosseti gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cheliouze decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rosseti's guard. Cheliouze tries to free his leg and advance position but Rosseti is retaining full guard. Rosseti is trying to keep Cheliouze in close.

Rosseti tries to get to full guard but Cheliouze has control of the leg. Cheliouze decides to return to a standing position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cheliouze scores with a spinning back kick! Rosseti closes the distance but Cheliouze moves to the side and Cheliouze counters with an inside leg kick. Cheliouze gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rosseti takes a shot to the head. Cheliouze pulls guard successfully.

Chip Cheliouze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Cheliouze scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rosseti doesn't seem bothered though. Cheliouze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cheliouze missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Cheliouze not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cheliouze decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Rosseti darts in trying to clinch and Cheliouze counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rosseti is lucky that one didn't land flush. Cheliouze gets the takedown into side control. Rosseti wants to control but Cheliouze postures up. Cheliouze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Rosseti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cheliouze is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rosseti knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cheliouze unloads with some shots from mount but Rosseti bucks and avoids them well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cheliouze looking to secure an arm triangle but Rosseti defends it well. Cheliouze controlling from mount. Rosseti manages to regain half guard. Good work. Cheliouze moves nicely into side control. Cheliouze is looking to take a break and control but Rosseti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chip Cheliouze has got the better of the ground game so far. Cheliouze decides to stand back up. Cheliouze steps back and let's Rosseti get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheliouze closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rosseti to the mat! Rosseti manages to get full guard. Cheliouze trying to control but Rosseti is working from the bottom. Cheliouze trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rosseti keeping moving, preventing Cheliouze from controlling successfully. Rosseti trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Cheliouze showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Cheliouze pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rosseti is keeping the position for now. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rosseti looks to clinch and Cheliouze decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rosseti's guard.

Rosseti keeping moving, preventing Cheliouze from controlling successfully. Cheliouze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cheliouze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cheliouze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cheliouze trying to control but Rosseti is working from the bottom. Rosseti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cheliouze moves into range and clinches up with Rosseti.
And that's the end of the fight! Chip Cheliouze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cheliouze has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
