Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tj Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tj Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony ko! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coleman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Coleman feints and as ko raises his hands in defense, Coleman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. ko looks gassed! Coleman stands up and waves to ko to follow him. A momentary lapse in concentration from ko enables Coleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. ko manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Coleman is stalling in the full guard. Coleman won't allow ko to get back to his feet. Coleman lands a couple of decent looking shots. Coleman's corner is telling him to maintain position. Coleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Coleman lands a couple of digs. Coleman is stalling in the full guard. ko wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. ko being controlled here, momentarily. Coleman passes into half guard. Coleman is pressing down on ko's thigh, looking to free his foot. ko is holding on for now. Coleman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ko is just riding it out for now. Coleman eventually gives up the hold. Nice strikes from Coleman there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Coleman seems to be looking for submissions.
Coleman is trying to work for a kimura but ko is defending well.
ko tries to kick Coleman off but Coleman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Coleman is controlling the pace.
Coleman slips a nice elbow through ko's hands, connecting with ko's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman controlling the action here. ko won't allow Coleman to pass to mount. ko makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! ko misses with a double jab
and Coleman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Coleman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. ko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Coleman counters with a single leg into guard. ko didn't expect that. Coleman prevents ko from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman gets to his feet. ko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! ko falls off balance throwing a combination
and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. ko fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. ko wants to stand up but Coleman is controlling him. Coleman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman distracts ko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj Coleman dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Coleman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coleman. Coleman pulls ko into guard.
Coleman is controlling ko's posture. ko wants to stand but Coleman is controlling his posture from full guard. Coleman pushes ko off and scrambles back to his feet.
Coleman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Coleman presses ko against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Coleman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Coleman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. ko wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. ko is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman is pulling down on ko's head. It's preventing any offense from ko, at least for the moment. ko wants to stand but Coleman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. ko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. ko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Coleman is trying to keep ko in close.
ko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. ko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. ko fights it but they end up in guard. ko wants to stand and escape but Coleman is having none of it. Coleman trying to control but ko is working from the bottom. Coleman stops ko from standing up. Coleman stands and throws ko's legs to the side, diving into side control. ko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Coleman has just dragged him back down to the mat. Coleman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Coleman advances to full mount. ko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ko bucks Coleman off and manages to get back to his feet! ko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Coleman counters by moving into the clinch. ko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Coleman breaks the clinch.
Tony ko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. ko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coleman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in ko's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. ko wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Coleman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

and Coleman moves into the clinch. Coleman has clasped his hands together around ko's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Coleman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that ko can do to turn this around? ko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Coleman asserts his dominance and retains side control. Tj Coleman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. ko tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. ko trying to get back to his feet but Coleman is in full control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj Coleman dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
ko throws a combination that misses and Coleman moves into the clinch. Coleman pulls guard effortlessly. ko wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Coleman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for ko! ko wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Coleman has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! ko taps furiously! This one is all over!
