The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prosser closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Legutnik quickly recovers to half guard. Prosser is controlling the pace.
Prosser uses his free foot to push down on Legutnik's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Legutnik. Prosser controlling from mount. Prosser's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Legutnik is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Legutnik might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Prosser sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. It looks like Prosser might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Legutnik is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Prosser controlling the pace for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cale Prosser. Prosser slips under a jab. Legutnik catches Prosser with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Prosser keeps the fight on the outside. Legutnik fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Legutnik scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Legutnik tries to clinch there but Prosser circles away.
Legutnik lands a jab to the head.
Prosser looks gassed! Prosser leaves his chin hanging out and Legutnik seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Prosser crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
