Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christian Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Philip Orange! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orange changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Keller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Orange trying to control the action but Keller is working from the bottom. Keller sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Orange is looking for a kimura here.
Keller gets full guard. Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Keller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orange gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Keller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Keller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Orange thows a big elbow that misses. Orange preventing the sweep. Keller throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Orange passes Keller's left leg - he's now in half guard. Keller is staying active underneath Orange, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Orange keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Keller is looking for a sweep. Orange is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Keller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Keller is breathing heavily. Keller is striking but Orange is not phased and passes to half guard. Keller is not content to let Orange control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orange passes to side control. Keller is trying to control Orange's posture but Orange avoids it. Keller looks to move to half guard but instead Orange has passed into mount! Damn! Keller really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orange slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Orange trying to control but he's not successful this time. Orange tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Keller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Orange controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Keller is desperately trying to improve his position but Orange has a good base and remains in mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Philip Orange just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Keller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Orange! Orange has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Philip Orange has got the better of the ground game so far. Orange trying to control the hands but Keller breaks the grip. Keller has the hooks in. Orange is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Keller is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Orange is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Keller gets his way!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keller is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Orange has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Keller thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Keller's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Orange manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Keller working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Orange throws a big right hand that misses. Orange wants to stand but Keller is controlling his posture from full guard. Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Orange can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Orange postures up in Keller's guard and throws a big left but Keller blocks it. Keller is working an open guard so Orange takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Keller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Orange counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Keller! Orange prevents Keller from getting the reversal. Keller tries to hold on but Orange postures up. Keller is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Keller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Keller wants to pass the guard but Orange is keeping the position. Keller pushes down on Orange's leg and manages to get into half guard. Orange won't allow Keller to pass to mount. Orange has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keller is working away from the top position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Orange is looking to escape. Keller is looking to take a break and control but Orange is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Keller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Keller dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Keller misses with a takedown attempt and Orange counters with a nice double leg into side control. Keller won't be happy with that. Orange has hold of Keller's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Keller tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Orange cranks the arm and Keller screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Keller, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
