Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Crocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurgen Wutend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crocker comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - I Shot The Sheriff. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Crocker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jurgen Wutend!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wutend swings for the body but Crocker moves out of range.
Crocker avoids the body shot from Wutend.
Crocker tries to clinch but Wutend moves away
and Wutend counters with a nice body shot.
A swing and a miss from Wutend.
Wutend misses with a wild body shot.
Crocker with a lazy takedown attempt
and Crocker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Crocker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wutend counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wutend circles away from the clinch attempt
and Wutend counters with a straight right hand.
Wutend lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wutend is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Crocker rather than just go for the knockout.
Wutend slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crocker with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wutend connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Crocker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wutend lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crocker circles away quickly and effectively.
Wutend looks to throw the jab but Crocker is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crocker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wutend finds it's way round the side to connect with Crocker's head.
Oooooh!!! Wutend has knocked Crocker down with a huge combo! Wutend steps away and waves a wobbly Crocker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Crocker is rocked!
Crocker darts in trying to clinch
and Wutend counters with a crisp right that sends Crocker to the canvas! Wutend follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jurgen Wutend!
