Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tekturo Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Ghengis Khan - Iron Maiden. Harrison has chosen Wont Back Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drew Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a shot from downtown. Harrison moves away and avoids it.

Khan shoots in and gets a takedown into Harrison's guard.
Khan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Harrison looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Khan wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving.
Khan lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harrison is keeping the position for now.
Khan with a nice head shot there.
Khan with a flurry of punches that miss.
Khan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Khan lands a couple of elbows.
Khan wants to pass the guard but Harrison is keeping the position.
Khan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Harrison's head.

Khan postures up in Harrison's guard and throws a big left but Harrison blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Khan trying to control but Harrison is working from the bottom.
Khan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tekturo Khan just wasn't active enough.

Khan gets the takedown into side control.
Harrison regains half guard.
Khan trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan throwing shots but Harrison is blocking nicely.

Khan is working for a kimura but Harrison is defending it quite comfortably.
Khan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Khan wants to free his trapped foot but Harrison is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harrison is refusing to be controlled, as Khan sits in half guard.
Khan stalling away here and it's allowed Harrison to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Khan wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving.
Khan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Khan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harrison's head.
Khan throws and elbow that misses. Harrison uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Khan's guard. Nice move by Harrison!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tekturo Khan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Harrison wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving.
Khan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harrison is one step ahead there.
Harrison prevents Khan from getting back to his feet.
Khan keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully.

Harrison forces his way into half guard.
Harrison controlling the pace.
Khan is looking to improve his position.
Harrison trying to control the action but Khan is working from the bottom.
Khan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Harrison tries to pass the half guard into mount. Khan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Khan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harrison!
Khan trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Khan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harrison is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Khan looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan with shots to the head and body - Harrison looks very uncomfortable down there.
Harrison keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Khan with a couple of short strikes.
Harrison is looking to improve his position but Khan isn't that keen on the idea.
Khan looking to finish Harrison with some ground and pound. This is bad for Harrison!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Khan working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Khan cracks Harrison with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tekturo Khan!
