Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Right (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Right!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris White!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Right throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and White counters with a nice uppercut.

White shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Right wants to get back to his feet.
White lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Right is looking to escape.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Right. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Right is breathing heavily.
White winds up and cracks Right with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

White fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Right really wants to buck White off and get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Right to the mat! Right manages to get full guard.
White throws a big right hand that misses.

White is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Right is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Right has escaped and now he's on top!
White wants to sweep here but Right controlling him for the moment.
Right has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of White is proving hard to escape from.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

White is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Right looks like he's trying to stand up.
White is nestled in close to Right, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

White is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Right can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Right tries to buck White off but he can't manage it.

White won't let Right get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

White keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Right's head.

Right is working an open guard so White takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

White looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Right with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
White with a couple of short strikes.
You get the feeling that Right really doesn't like being in this position too much.

White pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Right is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Chris White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
