Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhu Fangyu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Keystone! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keystone throws a leg kick that is checked and Fangyu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Keystone throws a leg kick and Fangyu finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Keystone throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fangyu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fangyu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Keith Keystone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fangyu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Keystone avoids the head kick by Fangyu.
Crunch! Fangyu slams his shin into Keystone's torso.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keystone misses the shot to the body. Fangyu lands a nice looking kick to the body. Keystone takes a step back to recover. Fangyu wants to clinch up but Keystone keeps it at a distance. Keystone throws a poor cross that misses
and Fangyu counters with a lovely shot to the body. Keystone looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keystone swings and misses with a shot to the body and Fangyu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Keystone misses with an uppercut
and Fangyu counters with a thumping low kick. Fangyu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fangyu is looking to clinch. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fangyu, right into the meat.
Keystone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fangyu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keystone walks into a stiff left hand from Fangyu. Fangyu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Keystone doesn't seem bothered though. Fangyu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fangyu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Keystone's calf. A cross from Fangyu lands. Fangyu scores with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fangyu throws out a powerful jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fangyu lands a nice looking kick to the body. Keystone takes a step back to recover. Keystone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fangyu, right into the meat.
Keystone tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fangyu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Keystone. Keystone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fangyu. Keystone misses with a leg kick and Fangyu finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Fangyu cracks Keystone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fangyu connects with a high kick. Keystone throws a leg kick and Fangyu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fangyu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Keystone can do to turn this around? Keystone is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fangyu thumps Keystone with a low kick. Keystone has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fangyu. Fangyu wants to clinch. Keystone misses with a takedown attempt and Fangyu counters with an outside leg kick.
Fangyu throws a nice outside leg kick. A low kick from Keystone is predictable there enabling Fangyu to counter with a crisp jab.

Fangyu jabs Keystone right on the nose. Keystone blinks but takes it well. Fangyu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Keystone misses with a hook
and Fangyu counters with a slapping leg kick. Keystone's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A good leg kick by Fangyu. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight stays on the outside here - Fangyu looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Zhu Fangyu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fangyu clobbers Keystone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fangyu lunges at Keystone with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Keystone's hand. Keystone scores with a hook to the body. Fangyu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fangyu attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keystone throws a leg kick and Fangyu counters with a nice low kick that buckles Keystone's knee momentarily. Keystone tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Fangyu connects with an inside leg kick. Keystone takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Keystone avoids a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zhu Fangyu dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Keystone misses with a right hand and Fangyu counters with a flying knee. Nice. Keystone throws a leg kick and Fangyu counters with a stiff right hand. Keystone checks a leg kick. Keystone misses with a wild combination.
Keystone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fangyu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Keystone circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Fangyu counters with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fangyu wants to clinch up but Keystone keeps it at a distance. Keystone misses with a right hand and Fangyu makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Keystone really felt that one! Keystone throws a poor cross that misses
and Fangyu counters with a leg kick. Keystone misses with a body punch
and Fangyu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Keystone throws a lazy uppercut
and Fangyu counters with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fangyu lands a leg kick that knocks Keystone off balance momentarily. Keystone is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Fangyu lands a jab to the nose. Keystone misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Keystone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fangyu wants to clinch. Fangyu scoring well with a low kick there.
Keith Keystone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keystone throws a leg kick that is checked and Fangyu counters with a nice low kick that buckles Keystone's knee momentarily. Keystone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fangyu counters with a solid body kick. Keystone swats away the attempt to clinch by Fangyu.
And that's the end of the fight! Zhu Fangyu showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fangyu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
