Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Dessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grossman comes to the cage accompanied by The Devil's Rejects. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Grossman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Dessler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dessler throws a lazy uppercut
and Grossman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dessler attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Dessler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Grossman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dessler tries to clinch there but Grossman circles away.
Grossman fakes the leg kick and cracks Dessler in the body.
Grossman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dessler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Dessler counters with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dessler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Grossman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dessler's head backwards.

Well Grossman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
