Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Tweedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tweedy has chosen Hard Act To Follow as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Tweedy! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimmo throws a jab but it's blocked by Tweedy. Tweedy throws a combination. Kimmo tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kimmo stuffs the takedown. Kimmo slaps away a takedown attempt from Tweedy, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tweedy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kimmo finds it's way round the side to connect with Tweedy's head.
It looks like Ben Tweedy has been cut. Tweedy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kimmo. Kimmo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tweedy looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tweedy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kimmo quickly recovers to half guard. Kimmo is trying to control but can't.
Kimmo is pressing down on Tweedy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kimmo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tweedy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tweedy won't allow Kimmo to sweep him here. Kimmo is working hard here to advance position. Tweedy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kimmo is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kimmo wants to stand and escape but Tweedy is having none of it. Tweedy throws a strike but Kimmo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Tweedy seems keen to control Kimmo's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tweedy working for a triangle but Kimmo defends it easily.
Kimmo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kimmo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tweedy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kimmo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimmo postures up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kimmo trying to control but Tweedy is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tweedy lands with a cross. Kimmo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Michael Kimmo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kimmo.
Tweedy scores with a one two! Kimmo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kimmo misses with a two punch combination.
Kimmo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tweedy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kimmo counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tweedy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kimmo counters with a good low kick that Tweedy was not able to check. Kimmo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tweedy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Michael Kimmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Tweedy. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Kimmo. Kimmo thuds his right hand into Tweedy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kimmo lands a lovely overhand right. Kimmo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tweedy is rocked! Tweedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kimmo sprawls well. Kimmo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tweedy gets slowly back to his feet. A head kick from Kimmo lands but Tweedy takes it in his stride. Tweedy is still on wobbly legs! Can Kimmo finish him? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters circle, before Kimmo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tweedy's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kimmo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
