Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Irmeli Kosonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lauri Lamari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kosonen comes to the cage accompanied by Kolovrat - Blood of Patriots. Lamari has chosen Rammstein - Feuer Frei! as his entrance music. Irmeli Kosonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Kosonen. That snapped Lamari's head back.
Lamari avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lamari looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A swing and a miss from Kosonen.
Lamari keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kosonen.
Lamari throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Irmeli Kosonen has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kosonen thows a body shot but no joy.
Lamari uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kosonen.
Lamari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lamari shoots for a takedown but Kosonen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lamari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kosonen is fending him off so far but Lamari persists. Nope, Kosonen circles away and we're back to standing.
Lamari shoots for a double leg takedown but Kosonen sprawls well. He's pushed Lamari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Irmeli Kosonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lauri Lamari.
Lamari takes the fight into the clinch.

Lamari tries to land knees in the clinch but Kosonen avoids the damage to the body.
Kosonen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lamari pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lamari takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lamari thows a body shot but no joy.
Kosonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kosonen misses with a straight right.
Kosonen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lamari wants to clinch.
Irmeli Kosonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamari avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamari walks straight into a right hand from Kosonen - that's dropped him! Kosonen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lamari from any more punishment! Lamari complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
