Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hippie Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy LaPlaguea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smasher comes to the cage accompanied by Who's Your Daddy - Lordi. Andy LaPlaguea is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smasher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smasher showed some decent athleticism there.
Smasher is pressing down on LaPlaguea's thigh, looking to free his foot. LaPlaguea is holding on for now.
LaPlaguea is looking to escape.
Smasher thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed LaPlaguea's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smasher wants to pass to mount but LaPlaguea is defending the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LaPlaguea is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Smasher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
LaPlaguea must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

LaPlaguea tries to bum rush Smasher with a series of wild strikes but Smasher uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Smasher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

LaPlaguea is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Smasher off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
