Dos Santos cracks a nice hook into Green's ribs.
Green looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Green tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dos Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Green somewhat.
Dos Santos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A left lands for Dos Santos.
Dos Santos cracks a nice hook into Green's ribs.
Green fails with the takedown.
Dos Santos thuds his right hand into Green's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green needs to keep his hands up - Dos Santos had a free shot at his head there.
Dos Santos drops Green with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Green looks back up at him and smiles so Dos Santos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Green is rocked!
Green glances at the clock... BAM! Dos Santos nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Green crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Green is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Junior Dos Santos!
