Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Triangles misses with a right hand
and Marro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Triangles swings widly with a right hand
enabling Marro to counter with a crisp jab.
Marro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Triangles sprawls well initially but Marro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Triangles is staying active underneath Marro, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Triangles wants to get back to full guard.
Marro wants to free his trapped foot but Triangles is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Triangles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Marro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Triangles sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are battling for position here. Triangles manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Marro tries to free his leg and advance position but Triangles is retaining full guard.
Marro must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Triangles is on top in guard.

Marro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Triangles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Triangles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sloppy Triangles has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Triangles throws a jab when Marro was well out of range.

Triangles feints and as Marro raises his hands in defense, Triangles changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marro controls Triangles momentarily but Triangles frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Triangles is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Triangles wants to control from the top but Marro keeps moving.
Triangles tries to free his leg and advance position but Marro is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sloppy Triangles just wasn't active enough.
Marro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Triangles counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Marro's guard now.
Triangles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Triangles is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sloppy Triangles.

Triangles has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Marro is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Triangles yanks on the arm and Marro is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Triangles.
