Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelley Public (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chumbawamba - Tubthumping. Public has chosen Turagsoy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tweedle Dee! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kelley Public! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Public lands a high kick!
It looks like Tweedle Dee has been cut. Public moves out of range as Dee throws a body kick.
Dee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Public moves away. Dee misses with a kick to the body.
Public falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dee counters with a low kick, right behind Public 's knee. Dee connects with a solid leg kick. Dee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Public moves forwards but Dee connects with a nice, crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! A looping hook to the body misses from Dee. Public does a little dance to reset his feet. A jab from Public finds it's way through Dee's defenses. Dee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Public was covering up waiting for the punch and Dee finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dee prevents Public from getting back to his feet. Dee throwing strikes but missing. Dee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dee sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Public utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dee lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dee engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dee postures up in Public's guard and throws a big left but Public blocks it. Dee is in close to Public's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Public's head. Public is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dee dives into side control.
Dee landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dee moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Public manages to get back to half guard. Dee working Public over with strikes. Dee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Public is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Public trying to control here.
Dee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dee content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dee slips a nice elbow through Public's hands, connecting with Public's forehead. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dee connects with a nice short shot to Public's temple. Public makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Public. Dee landing some decent shots from guard. Dee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Public is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We're going to have a standup here because Tweedle Dee wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Public throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dee counters with a nice leg kick. Public walks into a jab. Dee thuds his right hand into Public's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A nice leg kick lands there from Dee. Public looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee connects with the punch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Public throws a sloppy head kick and Dee counters with a slapping leg kick. Nice cross by Dee.
Public is rocked! Dee moves into range and clinches up with Public. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tweedle Dee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tweedle Dee's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Public gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dee scores with a counter punch that sends Public to the canvas! Dee smells blood - he's punishing Public with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Public has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tweedle Dee! Tweedle Dee is the new middleweight champion!
