Dubina comes to the cage accompanied by Russian Road. Kaplan has chosen Of Wolf And Man by Metallica as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaplan closes the distance but Dubina moves to the side
and Dubina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Landon Kaplan has been cut.
Dubina throws a series of punches but Kaplan avoids them all with ease.
Kaplan rushes Dubina and presses him up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dubina as Kaplan tries to tie him up.
Dubina presses Kaplan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kaplan lands a takedown into guard.
Kaplan stands and throws Dubina's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kaplan is chipping away with strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dubina is not content to let Kaplan control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dubina takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kaplan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dubina looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kaplan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dubina is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kaplan lets go of the hold and Dubina can pop his arm back in it's socket.
