Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlisson Rousseff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshi Zuko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rousseff's entrance music is Mail Man Blues - Sleepy John Estes. A fine choice. Zuko has chosen The Writ as his entrance music. Charlisson Rousseff could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kenshi Zuko's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenshi Zuko!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousseff throws a poor cross that misses
and Zuko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zuko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rousseff scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rousseff needs to keep his hands up - Zuko had a free shot at his head there.
Jab, jab by Zuko - just one landing.
Rousseff looks to score with a jab to the body but Zuko is just out of range.
Zuko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rousseff to the mat! Rousseff manages to get full guard.

Zuko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zuko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rousseff works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rousseff not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zuko tries to free his leg and advance position but Rousseff is retaining full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zuko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Zuko prevents Rousseff from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Zuko counters with a shoot takedown. Rousseff fights it but they end up in guard.
