Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Pembelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Santa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pembelton's entrance music is Hail Mary. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Pembelton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dirty Santa! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pembelton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pembelton loads up on a big right hand but Santa slips the punch. Frank Pembelton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pembelton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santa swivels and escapes. Pembelton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santa as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Pembelton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pembelton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Santa as he jumps to the side. Santa fails to land the takedown. Pembelton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Santa counters with a single leg into guard. Pembelton didn't expect that. Santa wants to pass the guard but Pembelton is keeping the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Santa is working Pembelton over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Santa throws a big right hand that misses. Pembelton has momentary wrist control but Santa slips an elbow through the middle. Pembelton looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pembelton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Santa manages to get himself to full guard.
Pembelton is breathing heavily. Pembelton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Santa wants to sweep but no luck. Santa trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Santa wants to sweep but no luck. Santa striking off his back but it's not causing Pembelton any problems. Santa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santa passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pembelton! Pembelton is in a horrible position here. Santa smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Santa fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pembelton gets back to half guard. Santa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pembelton is trying to maintain the position but Santa is very close to passing his half guard. Santa looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Santa connects with a nice short shot to Pembelton's temple. Pembelton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pembelton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Santa! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Santa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pembelton landing punches. Santa is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pembelton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Santa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pembelton sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Pembelton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Pembelton is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Santa has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pembelton has hold of Santa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Santa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Santa has given up his back here. Will Pembelton look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Pembelton has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Santa is in real trouble here. Pembelton gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Santa is tapping out! Pembelton wins by rear naked choke!
