Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Somers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marin Perkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Somers comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger by K.West. Perkovic is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Drowning Pool - Bodies. Marin Perkovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkovic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Somers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Marin Perkovic has been cut.
Perkovic leaves Somers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Somers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Perkovic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Perkovic connects with a nice looking jab.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Perkovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perkovic Throws a clean left jab. Perkovic Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Somers's chin! Somers crumbles to the ground and Perkovic follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Perkovic!
