The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crownguard looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Gracie wants to clinch but Crownguard slips to the side
and Crownguard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gracie dives in and grabs Crownguard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crownguard pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crownguard but Crownguard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Crownguard has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crownguard is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crownguard can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crownguard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Crownguard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crownguard was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Crownguard is retaining full guard.
Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Garen Crownguard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Crownguard has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
