1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergey Zhuravlevich! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Lickitung takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Charles St Lickitung has been cut. Zhuravlevich misses with the combination.
St Lickitung scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zhuravlevich is looking for a sweep. St Lickitung misses with the ground and pound. St Lickitung postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Zhuravlevich tries to get back to half guard but can't. St Lickitung working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zhuravlevich tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but St Lickitung wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zhuravlevich tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Zhuravlevich can't escape the position.
St Lickitung wants to control the pace but Zhuravlevich is squirming around nicely. St Lickitung cracks Zhuravlevich with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Zhuravlevich is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, St Lickitung has taken his back.
Zhuravlevich is trying to remain composed but St Lickitung is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Zhuravlevich is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get St Lickitung off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Zhuravlevich looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Zhuravlevich looks gassed! St Lickitung wants to control but Zhuravlevich is keeping busy. St Lickitung is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Zhuravlevich. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. St Lickitung has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. St Lickitung working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Zhuravlevich is doing well to defend. St Lickitung seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Zhuravlevich is forced to tap and this one is over!
