Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Klimas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makebono Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makebono Bowen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klimas clobbers Bowen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Klimas lands with a right hand.
It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Klimas cracks Bowen with a good jab.
Makebono Bowen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Klimas lands a big right hand that sends Bowen crashing to the mat! Klimas stays standing though and waves Bowen back to his feet!
Bowen is rocked!
Bowen lands a big head kick that sends Klimas tumbling to the mat! Bowen takes a step backwards and waves Klimas back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bowen is still on wobbly legs! Can Klimas finish him?
Klimas is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bowen flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bowen is out cold! Klimas holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Klimas!
