The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersey throws an overhand right that lands on Arona's shoulder, as Arona tries to avoid the shot.
Arona misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kersey. Arona does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kersey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Arona in his tracks.
Arona takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Arona shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Arona was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kersey is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Arona locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kersey is forced to tap!
