PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Piletich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piletich comes into the arena with King of Kings blaring out of the sound system. Penn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Break Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, AJ Penn!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piletich misses with a takedown attempt - Penn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Penn takes a swing at Piletich's ribcage but misses.
Penn stuffs the takedown.
Penn scores with a head kick.
Piletich fails to land the takedown.

Piletich shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penn as he avoids it easily.

Penn dodges the ground and pound from Piletich.

Piletich throws a right hand that Penn ducks under and follows up with a left that Penn also avoids with ease.
